Range Ball Bucket Issue

Range Ball Bucket Issue

Members, please note that range ball buckets are not to be taken away from the driving range or rear practice area.

Doing so means a shortage of buckets for other members and the public to use, which is both inconsiderate and inconvenient.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Women’s Intrahouse Matchplay

Women’s Intrahouse Matchplay

Vanessa Allan and Jorinda Hart initiated the intrahouse Matchplay competition to give ladies the opportunity to experience Matchplay before the pennant season. After a few years’ break, 32 ladies participated this year, and the competition was a great success

With JCC ladies now competing in division 1 metro pennants and holding our own in that competition, our ongoing participation and respect in division 4 as well as fielding junior and senior pennants sides each year, this is a testament to how much the ladies enjoy Matchplay and the club vs. club format and excel at it.

Sincere thanks to our sponsor Jorinda Hart

Congratulations to the winner Charlotte Hicks and runner up Debbie Cavin

Women’s Pennants Update

Women’s Pennants Update

Division 1

Sunday saw the final week of the Women’s Division 1 pennants rounds. The strong team spirit developed throughout the season was again evident at Gosnells Golf Club where JCC faced Royal Fremantle.  Royal Fremantle were the clear leaders this year having convincingly won all of their previous rounds.

JCC players, caddies, and spectators again came together to support the club. Although we did not achieve the desired outcome, our fifth-place finish demonstrates significant progress and is a step in the right direction. In the premier match, the two foremost players in the state competed against each other, showcasing sensational golf.  Both players were significantly under the card and the result decided on the final hole.

We are immensely proud of the manner in which the team represented our club this year.  Their dedication and commitment were demonstrated in their attendance at training sessions (thanks to Jess), their support of each other and the example that they set to our members and other clubs.

Additionally, thank you to the members who supported the team by attending matches, caddying, and providing support in many other ways

End of DV 4 Pennants in Ladies’ Golf

With the conclusion of the DV 4 pennants season in ladies’ golf, we celebrate a fantastic effort by all involved. A heartfelt thank you to our team captain, Vanessa Allen, for her unwavering dedication and leadership throughout the season. We also extend our gratitude to the incredible ladies who braved the freezing mornings to represent us with such determination. The season ended on a high note with a great victory against Cottesloe, and we now look ahead to 2026 with fresh ideas and renewed enthusiasm. Well done, team!
